Candle Care

Handmade with love.

  • Wood Wick Care

Make sure to trim your wick before each use, removing all charred wood from previous burns. This will allow for the wick to stay lit for an optimal candle burning experience.

Also, on your first light/burn of the candle, allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter this helps prevent tunnelling, which can impact how well the candle burns.

  • Pre-Waxed Wick Care

Make sure to trim your wick 1/4 inch after each burn to improve the candle burn performance.

Also, on your first light/burn of the candle, allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter this helps prevent tunnelling, which can impact how well the candle burns.

  • Candle Burning Care

Make sure to burn your candle on a heat resistant surface. Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn candle longer than 4 hours. Stop burning candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

When your candle’s life has come to an end and you want to reuse the container/jar, there is a simple way to remove the remainder of wax/residue. Safely pour boiling water into the jar, allowing the wax to melt and rise to the top. Give the wax time to cool and harden, then remove the solidified wax out of the top. Finally, wash the container/jar and you are good to go!
